Not sure if you can or cant fish the nature pool, all i know you cant fish off of the bridge.
I would say that the ticket is well worth it, some nice fish in all the lakes. Think all lakes will need the rain we have had, all the lakes i have been to lately have been well under the level.
Northlands needs some rain as the road side lake is shallow in most parts.

The lake water level is not high at all at present. To be honest I think it just about right from my fishing experance over there.

Is the ticket good vaule????? God yes. There are some fantastic fish in Northlands as well as lake medows. Glouster park is not my cup of tea but still has its place.
I am doing all my winter fishing at northlands this year so if you need any advise or info on the venue please just ask.

Cheers danny m8 i may take you up on that Wink

i went today for the pike
it was dead on the static deads but had 1 and lost 1 at the net on lures

lots of pike rolling on the road bank but not playing ball

2 good sized carp crashed in the middle of the road lake (nice to see)

saw 2 lads down there no net, no mat, hooked a pike crained it out the lake with there rod onto stones and mud, kicked it for a bit then ripped the hook clean out, kicked it a bit more the stuck a big stick through it gills and tried to lob it back

You joking????? That is crazy. Think the baliff's need to put a few rules into place regarding fish care. Stuff like that dont give the place a good image. It is always the few who spoil it for everyone.

unfortunately tim n glen are super blokes but you just dont see anyone round the lakes like you used to in the toomer days.sometimes nobody is round lakes till 10 and nobody again until late afternoon.there needs to be signs put up next to the lakes advising people that they need landing nets and mats etc if there style of fishing req
