Does anyone know anything about these two lakes one i believe is 5 acres and the other 2 acres. One use to be a fishery but closed down and is now part of a syndicated water owned and run by Lilly fisheries. There appears to be a number of 30 lbs plus carp there.

There is likely to be a full membership from another syndicate that has closed ! Berners hall !
The lakes have there plus points and minus points.
lake one (small lake)
very low in the water at the moment !
i gather it was hit hard by anglers last year (20 members on a very small lake)some good catches but a very very hard water. some up to mid 30s.guy i spoke too had not caught anything in the lake for months, but when he did they was 28lbs to 33lbs.there are koi there also up to 28 lbs
It does not have much going for it really ! except the fish and yu have to be very quite there any move spooks the fish !
lake two 5 acres a much better proposition indeed !
has quite a lot of fish, only problem most of these fish have been in the lake for years and not put in as the syndicate has only in the last few months taken over the lake. (rumoured that he is buying new stock for the lake this year) and also a number from stock lakes.
the question is are the lakes worth £400 ? me i think not,if only it was around the £275 mark i would its just a little too expensive.
Parking in the new lake is excellent and very safe. But i am shure it will be a sell out !
