yes less than 2 months to go to the carp fair ! I myself is looking forward to this great annual event (was cancelled last jan due to snow but they rebooked it in april) .
I wonder what yu be buying this january? What i wont be buying are rods and reels i already bought 6 new diawa ABi s and 2 new diawa emblem rods .. but will belooking for ..
1 large or very large tackle bag.
2. fox 3/4 rod tripod
3+3 rod holdal (may buy the larger 4 rod one)
3.boilies if i can get them cheaper than £8 a kilo (which is what i pay in chelmsford)
4. halibut large 22mm pellets again cheaper than i can normally get.
5.small cat rigs prefer a size 6 or 4 hook with suitable cat braid.
6. decent heavy duty shoes size 10
7. bait boat / I have decided to wait on buying this as i dont have a car so unable to transport it )

i do agree Levsie242 on useing ebay ! But would admit that i tend to buy cheaper and smaller goods on ebay. Boilies and pellets are something i would not buy on ebay . The reason is very simple i go to marriages in chelmsford. who are very cheap (as long as you dont want huge amounts fo them ) i tend to buy one kilo at a time (2012) as i can easily get to marriages and also i like the boilies to be fresh. I would not consider frozen ones on the basis my freezers are not big enough we do keep animals so the freezer is used for this (generally up to 10 chickens plus the usual frozen vegs) got a great deal on them at £3.50 for medium chicken

If you want some quality bait at a good price look at Darenth Valley Baits. There factory is just outside Upminster. Believe they will have a stall at Brentwood

Flash - Do Marriages in Chelmsford sell boilies then?

Bit off topic I know, but would be interested in knowing what they offer.
