i read a couple of days ago and spoke also to a guy in our club who uses large "lobworms" for cats .with good results. he uses two lopworms on a large hook . maybe worth a try

I'm going to try lobworms over at Colony Lakes to try for some decent Bream. Going to be fishing in the margins for come nice Carp with some Luncheon meat.

i gather this was at crow green when i say large lobworms i do mean large about 5 inches long. think they be ok for the sturgeon there too. always worth a try

lobs are a well known cat bait. Large bunches are a fantastic presentation on a dumbell rig.
I will use anything up to a dozen on a large hook popped up 4" - 12"
Catches a lot of fish but will get nuisance fish like bream, eels, carp and tench playing with them
