the VAT man catches up with most in the end, and with the increase in January will be more down the drain.

bos fish gone now that is a shock. over the years i have brought lots of gear from them i am glad i didn,t have anything on order.

yes,sure was.only last week i was looking at a barbel rod and was umming about buying one.guess it should remind us to keep local for ur tackle if poss.wonder who of the big firms will be next,got poxy vat rise nxt yr

Bosfish are still open I think....??
There website order system is currently unavaliable, but you can by in shop with 25% discount

I would not like to take a chance in buying from the emails and website,
receivers who take over are not likely to pay out full refunds if its a bankrupcy and any guarantee on items will mean a chase to manufacturer and not the dealer.

they sent me an e-mail on the fourth (bosfish) about a mega sale and today said it has been cancelled????

Im not surprised wickford went tits up,their service was appalling,And they were bullshitters,ive many a tale i could tell about them...people wont always stand for a crap service and will shop elsewhere,i vowed never to shop there again anyway!
On the plus side it will provide abit more trade for the decent shops.

Looks like they are back in business! Their website is currently being updated and states it is under new ownership.
