I have been reading the comments regarding your club being badly run and baliffed. I am a member of the B.D.A.C, and it is not alot better. I have been a member on and off since 1998, and I didnt see a baliff until 2004, and that seemed to be a one off. The members handbook has not been updated since I have been a member, and the website has not been updated since it was launched. The baliffing problem seems to have improved this year though. Also the B.D.A.C seems to have purchased carp that do not grow. The lake records rise slower than Alex Fergusons watch runs after the 90th minute.

The problem with this club is the Committee running it. The club has had decent bailiffs in the past but the Committee doesn't listen to what they have to say and in the end they get fed up and chuck it in.
In my opinion the club is stuck in the past with its veiws and the way it is run and if things don't change they will get a serious wake up call with numbers of people rejoining. At the moment membership numbers are ok because i beleive a 1/4 of members each year are new members so they replace the ones who do not rejoin but that can't last forever. It is a shame as the club has got some nice waters but to be honest they are wasted as they club doesn't bring out their full potental.
