I am a member of this club and Warick is a great palce to fish with some nice large carp with some big tench as well.
There is a rather long waiting list to get into the club but it is a very friendly club, you will always find someone willing to help you.
There are 3 waters in the club Grange Farm can be hard, very nice looking water big fish then Warick an intermeadate water just have a bit of carp craft and you will catch and the last water is Dunton very easy water lots of runs.
Warick averages around 5 to 6ft with some deep areas and some shallow parts, as well as some nice bars, have been told best baits last year was mainline pineapple boilies, but when i have fished for the carp i use either pineapple boilies or plain old sweetcorn, i like to fish for the tench.

I probably know the answer to this already but is there any way of joining this club without fishing the grange

The waiting list is caused by this premier carp water but i really only want to fish at dunton as its just what im looking for a local runs water and really have no interest in the big one

The answer is no you have to join TAC. The only way you could fish Dunton would be as a guest, and guest tickets start from 1st July.
I see by your profle that your fav place is Blackmoor wood is this the BDAS water if so i also love to fish this lake or should i say used to love to fish as now BDAS have now lost this water.

Thanks. I will just have to hope a member is kind enough to take me,that is,if i can find a local who has no car or is limited for space with lots of kit. I have a tranny size van if its any use to a non driving angler. I provide the tackle transport, you get me in type of arrangement. Any takers?

Hi

I use to be a member of TAC in the 80's.

I use to really enjoy my days over Warwick Lane and would dearly love to fish it again.

I see that there only appears to be an address in Stanford Le Hope for Thurrock Angling Club.

Can anyone shed any light on how they're fixed these days? No doubt there's a waiting list.

Does anyone have a phone number please? That would be most helpful.
Thanks and Regards
Dave
